Orvieto (Tr). This year's edition of the Cronoscalata della Castellana Orvieto trophy open to vintage cars along the uphill SS79 bis Orvietana road has been scheduled for May 9th. Trial runs and technical tests will be carried out on the Saturday, with the race proper starting at 10.30am on the Sunday.

On May 9th the Sanctuary of Ramici will be holding the annual festivities to honour the Holy Virgin of Ramici, with locals walking to the sanctuary to hear Mass followed by music and food stands. The Ramici miracle was an apparition made by the Virgin on an oak branch to a local shepherd girl.
