"White Golden Dark"

Francesco Bosso in Spoleto presents the new series "After Dark", in addition to the previous "White World" and "Golden Light". A triple shooting in the scenic trip that turns into pictorial material, including infinitesimal variations of black and white and its stirring, dreamlike abstractions and calibrated geometries. Here, the pure photography that exceeds the boundary of technological time, crossing the threshold metaphysical space alien, places that become mental geographies, the beauty that feeds images as well, rarefied as the placid water of a northern sea.

"Emperors of light"

On the code of patronage, which has crossed the centuries, the family Dorja Pamphili puts the spotlight on the commission as a form of an imaginary computing, continuing the rituals of old habits but with contemporary accents, set on the extent of this language.

The profile of reborn patronage condenses in the project Contemporary Series. The first commission, which focuses on a group of Emperors, was born from the will of the spouses Massimiliano Floridi and Gesine Doria Pamphili. The artist chosen Ria Lussi, has worked for over a year between studioteorico, technical preparations and corrections policy. Between the two polarities architectural progettoprevede this special stage at the Palace Collicola Visual Arts, where the twelve busts are complete with original designs, inspired by the iconic everything starts, and an installation mural neon colored plotline in which the idea (prologue) and form (epilogue) blend together.

Sixty years after the signing of the agreement for cultural cooperation between Italy and Japan, and the entry into force of the International Convention on the Political Rights of Women, the National Museum of Oriental Art (Rome) and Palazzo Collicola Visual Arts (Spoleto) are pleased to present a group exhibition with four of the most significant contemporary Japanese artists: Atsuko Tanaka (1932), Yoko Ono (1933), Kazuko Miyamoto (1942), Chiharu Shiota (1972). Four women who, despite different background, area of ​​research and forms of expression, through their works embody the essence of four basic periods of Japanese history: the immediate postwar period, the Sixties, the era of economic boom, the new millennium.
