Perugia (PG) - Thursday, September 5th at Palazzo della Penna at 21 "Waiting for their golden wedding anniversary with Street Theatre", with Sandro Allegrini. A successful union between the stones of the old town and the new forms of theater: this was the Theatre in the Square, all original invention Perugia, exit from the fertile mind of the Sicilian Giuseppe Agozzino, then president of the Tourist Office.
They were protagonists of this adventure playwrights Perugia Franco Bicini and Artemio Giovagnoni, along with Sergio Ragni and Giampiero Frondini La Fontemaggiore, with their respective groups.
Location of theatrical events: the Conca and the square of San Giovanni del Fosso, the Rocca Paolina and the gardens of Pediment, Temple of Sant'Angelo and Piazza della Repubblica ...
The audience interjected and gave a swerve to the same representation, enriched by these glimpses of life ward, in a mix of folk and theater that joined Molière and Ruzante with the traditional bonhomie Perugia, always sharp and sly.
Sandro Allegrini will try to revive that atmosphere along with the protagonists of the time, waiting for the half-century of the event that will be properly celebrated with appropriate initiatives next year (1964-2014).
