Assisi (PG) - Assisi (Pg). As the birthplace of Italy's patron saint and one of the most beloved holy men of all time - St Francis - Assisi will be holding its usual official celebrations to honour him on his feast day, October 3rd and 4th, with Italy's highest authorities attending.
