Terni (TR) - This year InCanto Opera will present three works in Terni and Amelia lyrics that combine reissues of the repertoire of the early eighteenth century and 800 with the building of a modern written and staged exclusively for the event. Come to the XXIV edition, this year's event begins on October 3 at the Teatro Sociale di Amelia and ends on October 11 at the Teatro Comunale di Terni Secci, with a program of six shows partly dedicated to OperaScuola. Like every year, in fact, the event includes the involvement of schools.
The program opens with the marriage bill, Gioachino Rossini's first opera to be staged in 1810 the newly eighteen year old composer from Pesaro. The farce revolves around the young Fanny, his father, a rich merchant Tobia Mill, promised in marriage to a lot of the old bill Mr. Slook. Fanny is in love with Edward Milfort and, after various vicissitudes, manages to convince Mr. Slook not to demand payment of the bill but to turn to his young lover. The libretto written by Gaetano Rossi is perfectly functional to Rossini's precocious talent that already shows to be at ease composing the music's sells a light texture, making love triumph to the tune of the finale sung by all: "How consoling a core lucky love! Brillar makes a beautiful soul the happiness of others. "Performances will take place at Amelia at the Teatro Sociale in the context of Ameria Festival, Thursday, October 3, at 21.00 and Terni at the Teatro Comunale" S. Dried, "Sunday, October 6th at 17:30. The bill has OperaScuola instead of marriage, Saturday, October 5, 10:30 am, at the Teatro Secci.
The other production will present two interludes, one century Giovanbattista composed by Father Martini, Don Quixote, and one modern, errors Amadè, Vincenzo De Vivo, freely inspired by a happy guess by Pupi Avati, music by Lucio Gregoretti. This pièce tells of the meeting actually took place between the composer of Don Quixote, Padre Martini, and the young Mozart. The performance will take place in Terni, Teatro Comunale "S. Dried ", Wednesday, October 9th at 21:00. For OperaScuola representations are fixed Thursday 10 and Friday 11 October, both at 10.30 at the Teatro Secci.
