Perugia. This year’s edition of the Settimana della Cultura week devoted to culture, with many places not normally open to the public throwing open their doors to visitors, will run from April 16th to 25th.
MiBAC will open free of charge for ten days, with all state-run museums and institutions such as monuments, archaeological areas, archives, libraries and more also open during this period. In addition, the region has scheduled a number of exhibitions, conferences, teaching labs, guided tours and concerts.
In Perugia the exhibition entitled "Un armadio, tanti cassetti.....i gioielli, i segreti, le scoperte nella Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria" will run from April 16th to August 31st at the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria, featuring jewels and other treasures that have remained in the museum’s vaults since 1906.

The Museo Archeologico Nazionale dell'Umbria will be running the show entitled “Il prestigio dell'oro” from April 17th to 25th, offering visitors a selection of Etruscan and Roman era gold pieces largely from the museum’s permanent collection.
