From June 5 to 16 will be held on the fourteenth edition of the Festival of Renaissance in Acquasparta.
For 10 days, the Umbrian town, will come back in time to recall the daily life of the 1600s, a period of great splendor in the district and the city itself.
The event will the City be divided into three different districts, each of which, in the days of the festival will search through the challenges of a different kind, to ensure the victory of the prize, which went to the district in the 2010 edition of the Old Port.
During the re-enactment of the Renaissance, each district will have their citizens become "Contrada" and commit to recreate the Renaissance atmosphere, including taverns, knightly competitions and parades in period costumes.

THE CHALLENGES OF THE RENAISSANCE
- Gourmet Race: the taverns of the three districts will compete in the preparation of dishes ticpici of 1600
- Race Animation: the taverns of the three districts will compete in the proposal of an evening of entertainment
- Palio of the Lynx: jousting tournament in which the districts will compete in a contest of skill on horseback in which each rider has to hit a spear with a fixed target
- Game of the Goose: the classic board game version of "renaissance" with tests of skill and dexterity
