Lugnano in Teverina (TR) - Together with the town administration, the Società Cooperativa Sistema Museo of Lugnano have now reopened the city's museum itinerary, which features free guided tours of the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta and the town antiquarium. Santa Maria Assunta is a magnificent example of Romanesqua architecture, adorned with beautiful Cosmatesque mosaics, while the town antiquarium houses the many artefacts that have been unearthed in the digs carried out at the Poggio Gramignano rustic Roman era villa dating from the 5th century AD. From April 25th to September 30th the guided tours run on Sundays and holidays from 4 to 7pm. In the months of July and August there will be tours also on Saturdays at the same times.
