Spoleto (PG) - Saturday, July 14 at 22 Final Concert will take place on the 56th edition of the Festival of Two Worlds: James Conlon will conduct the La Scala Philharmonic in the performance of music by Verdi and Wagner. Verdi and Wagner were born the same year, but never met and never wrote nor tried. They were brilliant composers and distinguished themselves both to the revolutionary spirit that animated them, not only from the point of view of artistic innovation, but also as protagonists of social and political events of their time. In the bicentenary of the birth of their final concert of the Festival dedicated to these two monuments of the music and culture of the nineteenth century.
