Summer field with Amnesty International Under18

Passignano sul Trasimeno (PG) - From July 29 to July 3, 2013 will take place on summer camp for children organized by Amnesty International, at the center Panta Rei. Each year, 20 young people come together to learn more about human rights and discover all the different forms of activation. The sharing of activities and a common feeling has made the field Pantarei a valuable opportunity to meet peers from all over Italy and to share experiences and common interests.

This year's program will go to the discovery of the human rights situation in Italy. In particular, we will focus on the transparency of police forces in Italy, homophobia and the rights of LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex), on discrimination and ethnic segregation of the Roma on the exploitation and criminalization of migrants. Over all this will take lessons, but workshops, meetings, courses of awareness, planning and building of forms of activation.

There will also be a workshop for alternative and economically sustainable construction methods, such as the use of straw bales and earthen plasters.

What is not in the program, but that surely will happen is that we will rest and have fun, like any holiday worthy of the name.
