Passignano sul Trasimeno (PG) - Every Saturday, 5 to 26 October, the aromas and flavors of the wine of the season and the famous typical products of Umbria Trasimeno and are combined with the musical atmosphere that characterize Trasimeno Blues to give life to the music festival, food and wine Red White & Blues.
Thanks to the partnership of Trasimeno Blues with La Strada del Vino dei Colli del Trasimeno, the streets of Wine and Blues intersect according to a more elegant and refined than usual formula itinerant Summer Festival, immersing present in contexts of great historical and artistic cultural value to brighten the autumn evenings between the Dionysian and the Apollonian. An exclusive opportunity to enjoy sunsets, scents, colors and flavors in the romantic atmosphere of the fall season at the Lake Trasimeno, which stands-once again-perfect setting for the music that comes from the soul.
The 2013 edition of Red White & Blues formula changes: the concerts, but no more evening afternoon, will start at 18.30 and at the end there will be appetizers with the tasting of wines from the cellars of the wine route of the Colli del Trasimeno accompanied by tasting of local products. Attendees will also have the opportunity to rediscover prestigious and picturesque places such as museums, theaters, historic buildings and castles in various cities situated around the lake Trasimeno. The charm of the villages that surround the medieval fortress of Passignano and the nineteenth-century theater "Mengoni" of Magione and "Academy of Avvaloranti" of Città della Pieve, combined with the prestige of the Palaces of Corgna of Città della Pieve and Castiglione del Lago, amplify notes warm and engaging of music copyright, Soul, Blues, Jazz and Folk to promote the unusual meeting between conviviality and art.
It begins Oct. 5 with the appointment of Passignano that will host the concert Folk and Old Time Blues of Reverend & The Lady and continue on October 12 in Magione with the Country Rock and Blues Lakeetra Knowles & Chemako, October 19 in Castiglione Lake with a concert by Trio Ty Leblanc between Soul, Blues and Jazz, and on October 26 in Citta della Pieve with the quartet Old & New LoverSoul to interpret a repertoire of classic blues songs from famous and unpublished works by Ray Charles, Dr. John , BB King, etc..
The event is organized by the Wine Colli del Trasimeno in Trasimeno Blues synergy with and thanks to the support of the Region of Umbria, through the European Union's contribution to the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 mis.3.1.3.
