Orvieto (TR) - Begins July 18 with Danilo Rea, at 20, the first of four events that animate the summer of Palazzo del Gusto, the establishment of the Province of Terni in "defense" of the culinary excellence of Umbria, housed in a former convent St. John's.

Danilo Rea, the great jazz pianist with a classical education behind and graduated from Santa Cecilia, now one of the most well-known jazz musicians and respected by the public and professionals. A strong bond between the Rea and Umbria: it was, in fact, during Umbria Jazz awarded the title of "Ambassador of Umbria in the World," and the appointment of Orvieto will be an opportunity to celebrate this "marriage" with a great concert "piano solo". His repertoire knows no limits of category or genre: from the Beatles to opera arias, from jazz standards to the songs of our songwriters, music Danilo Rea experiences a perfect balance between lyricism and melodic jazz improvisation, creating a musical language and mature at the same time modern.
