Marsciano (PG) - The City of Marsciano index Prize creativity town of Marsciano.
May was born January 12, 2006, when the event opens with an edition that solves all part of a single evening. The success and the creative ferment that generates leads the City Council to support the event, as well as to give the name of the city in the competition.
The fourth edition (2011) recorded 216 participants in the art competition, covering all Italian regions with candidates and also from Russia, Germany, Sweden, the art competition is now launched on an international scale.
The positive result is not only evidenced by the number of users, more than 1,000 visitors, but also by the ever-increasing quality of the works exhibited at the Museum of dynamic brick and terracotta that in addition to owning an important permanent collection is home to prestigious exhibitions , including one dedicated to Marc Chagall and one dedicated to Salvador Dali "Dali: The Divine Comedy."
Participation in the competition is free.
Can participate in the competition each person who will not have completed their 36th year of age on the date of expiry of this.
Of all the applications received, the jury will select at least 30 artists. The artists selected for the final phase of the competition and their works will be exhibited at the rooms dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum's dynamic brick and terracotta of Marsciano from 1 to 15 September 2013.
Works already submitted or already exposed to competition with previous editions of Marsciano Art Young or already won other competitions will not be able to participate in this edition of the same, also for any damage suffered by third parties or by external agents the organizing committee and the City of marsciano do not take any responsibility.
The competition consists of a single area called "Visual Arts" divided into the following categories:
Painting
Sculpture
Installations
Video Art
Photography
Will be awarded the following prizes:
1st prize: € 500,00 net receipts, certificate of the jury.
2nd prize: € 250.00 net, as evidenced by the jury.
3rd prize: Expose the Museum
This award in cooperation with the City of Marsciano consists of a staff can be installed in the exhibition halls dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum's dynamic brick and terracotta.
The prize includes the promotion of the exhibition: printing posters in A3, A5 flyers, invitations and delivery of the same.
The Board of MAGMA Association will cooperate in the organization of the exhibition.
Special prize "Exchange copyright" (for artists up to 18 years of age):
The "Exchange of author" provides that an artist who has participated in one of the past editions of the event, gifts as a reward one of his works, choosing the recipient that they consider most deserving among those aged up to 18 years on 31 July 2013.
If there were to be participants under the age of eighteen special prize will not be awarded.
All the artists selected for the final round will receive a certificate of successful selection and participation in the exhibition of Marsciano Art Young, 2013 (see Item 4 of Part I: General rules of the competition).
The award ceremony, with the presentation of awards and certificates of their selection, will be held the afternoon of September 8, 2013, at the Hall of the Museum Vallerani dynamic brick and terracotta.
