Narni (TR) - Everything is now ready to welcome the second edition of Narnia Festival, 16-28 J uly, 2013, with its peaceful invasion of the great names of music and entertainment and, above all, with his retinue of young talents from all over the world. The second edition of the Festival will offer Narnia 'also a rich program of evening entertainment in the most prestigious venues and most impressive archeological sites of Narni, events and excursions to discover the wonders of Umbria.
In honor committee include people of culture and the entertainment industry as the tenor Marcello Giordani, the actress Lisa Gastoni, the RAI journalist and presenter Massimo Giletti, singer-songwriter Mariah Carey, Olympic champion Massimiliano Rosolino and ballerinaNatalia Titova, as well as the famous director Enrico Vanzinas.
The opening is expected for the next 16 July, with the opening entrusted to the amazing duo of Danilo Rea and Cristiana Pegoraro, intense complicit in a musical dialogue between classical music and jazz. During the Festival, other dates will be of importance not to be missed: the evening del18 July dedicated to chamber music romantic, next to the far more intriguing on July 20, entitled "The Immigrant bandoneon," a show of Tango Argentino with reciter , dance and piano quartet. And yet, the liturgy in the Cathedral of Narni, 21 luglioalle 11-hours with replication in the late afternoon in the beautiful Cathedral of Orvieto, in the presence of Bishop Tuzia - with the execution of the Mass by Mozart at the hands of a trio of choirs and Festival Orchestra conducted by Lorenzo Porzio.
In a sign of a skillful game of joints between strict tradition and tireless taste for innovation is the evening of July 22, when the Teatro Comunale di Narni will be staged laPlaytoy Orchestra, a formation capable of making music with toy instruments.
The Festival will however in its early stage warmer on 23 and 24 July, when two evenings related to intent and references will be explored through music, art and philosophy, the theme of the role of women in society, including the dramatic emergence of too much violence to which the news reports almost daily.
