Assisi (PG) - "The man is before God, he is and no more." We requested the courage of the truth, with ourselves and with God's courage to look inside, without lies and without pretense, as are many other things worth before God, "the man sees the appearance but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16: 7). We are called to internalize this message, because God does not ask us to drag us into another Lent, but to live this Lent else!
The Lenten journey of the friars of the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi provides for the traditional rite of the Pious Rope proposing the memory of the Passion of Christ and of the Stigmata of St. Francis, every Friday at 18.30 in the Lower Basilica. There are, in addition, from Monday 10 to Wednesday 12 at 15.00 SS. Forty Mass, the Eucharist, and exposure time for personal adoration silent.
The brothers take the cross of Jesus, the anxieties and desires of contemporary man.
