Trevi (Pg). From September 25th through to the first week of October Trevi will be in a frenzy of activity with this year's edition of the Palio dei Terzieri, starting with a procession in period costume and culminating in the Palio proper - an unusual race involving teams from each of the town's districts who each have to push a cart weighing some 450 kg from start to finish of a complex itinerary involving obstacles and other challenges.
Part of the Appuntamenti d'Autunno 2010 series of autumn events in Trevi, which includes also a market fair devoted to the local black celery and a festival of scenes of Medieval life.
