Assisi (PG) - Preparations are underway for the event "Anointed, Unesco Nature Land Oil", which aims to enhance the historical and cultural heritage linked to the typical products of the territory of Assisi, which will take place 1 to 3 November 2013. The highlight of the project is the involvement of all the "actors" of the tourism system of Assisi: the Pro Loco, farmers, trade associations and, of course, citizens and visitors.
1 to 3 November in Assisi, the program provides, among other things, a trade show of extra virgin olive oil and local products, bread and oil around the campfire, cooking lessons, guided tours of cloisters and gardens of the city of Assisi, a guided tour of the city from the Town Square to the Basilica of San Francesco, with access to the Old Fund of the Sacred Convent of St. Francis and consultation of ancient texts on the cultivation of the olive and olive oil production, edited by Fra Carlo Bottero. In addition, shows Calendimaggio, then concerts, guided tours to places of traditional oil of Assisi, a pressing of olives in the square, an olive oil tasting of local producers, dance and music in a party-century.
