Spoleto (PG) - A call addressed to the secondary schools of grade I and II to raise awareness of the cultural production of Vincenzo Maria Rippo. On the proposal of Battistina Vargas, the City Council yesterday approved the notice of competition "Debut" considering it a valuable tool to promote and enhance the creativity of young people.
The idea was born after a series of meetings held with the Councillor Vargas family members Rippo and the desire to create an ideal link between the work of the poet Spoleto and the younger generation.
The notice in fact provides for the participation (free) for students of secondary schools that will compete with free productions (literary, pictorial, graphic, musical, multimedia or performed other technical means) that, starting from the work of Vincenzo Maria Rippo develop content and themes of contemporary life.
It is therefore a creative contribution to the work of Rippo, the result of an experimental study of "approach" to the poet spoletino through the promotion of educational programs that enhance and support the creativity of young students in the arts of Spoleto.
To participate in the call, which will be sent to schools after the Christmas break, it will be sufficient to send the application form endorsed by the Headmaster before January 15, 2014, locate a teacher at that will support students in the completion of the work and, finally, present productions by 30 April 2014.
The proposals will be evaluated by an Artistic Committee "ad hoc" made up of people with proven experience within the themes dealt with by the Competition and the type of the projects submitted, that will decide the winners of each of the sections.
