Perugia (PG) - Sunday, July 28, at 16, an opportunity to discover cultural and landscape resources of the territory through guided tours and tastings.
The day will be dedicated to visiting the center of Piegaro, with the churches of San Silvestro and Our Lady of the spreader, and the town of Greppolischieto, a charming medieval jewel set in a pristine landscape, surrounded by a quiet almost magical. The visit will conclude with a tasting of local products.
The collection point for the excursion is set at the Museum of Glass in Piegaro, and visitors will move under its own power. The participation fee is € 5.00 per person (includes tour and tasting) and reservations are required by the Friday prior to the initiative.
The initiatives will be continued in the future, on a monthly basis, and every time will be devoted to one of the many small jewels kept by the hills of Valnestore as Castiglion Fosco, Cibottola the castle of the Abbey of Settle, the village of Macereto, the site of Ierna and much more. Appointments can not be missed, to discover an area rich in history, art and traditions.
