Marsciano (PG) - In Freud vs. Jung, a show on the soul and the dream, the two famous psychoanalysts are the subject of theatrical action. The show sponsored by the City of Marsciano, written and directed by Sergio Guarente, will be staged on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 21:00 at St. John the Piazzetta.
The author, Headmaster of the High School State "Jacopone" of Todi and dell'IIS "Luigi Salvatorelli" of Marsciano, has dedicated the work to the reconstruction of the complex human and professional relationship between the founder of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud and his most brilliant pupil, Carl Gustav Jung. "The exciting comparison between the two protagonists - says Guarente - is built on monologues 'in parallel' and tightened dialogic exchanges, with the intervention of 'reflective' of a Storyteller. An action that propels us into controversial personalities of the two great psychoanalysts, in order to investigate the reasons that have gradually reduced and then finally compromise their exciting partnership, with particular reference to the different interpretations of 'Dream', a factor considered by both decisive for the investigation of the unconscious and the complexity of the human psyche. "
On stage will act as protagonists Freud (played by Alessandro Panini Finotti), Jung (played by Edoardo Rossi) and the Narrator (played by Philip Bossi). At the end of the show will premiere the volume of the opera, published by Publisher young "Guardastelle" of Marsciano, directed by Elisa Popes and Leonardo Zaffera.
